You know, it truly baffles me how they can come up with some of the dumbest comic book stories and ideas. Take this latest pile by marvel comics, entitled "Galacta ". Get this, "The Story: Hang on-Galactus has a DAUGHTER?!?! You read that right, Gali is the Daughter of the famous world-eating behemoth...but she'd rather spend her time on social networking than on planet munching."

You know, who's bright idea was this? It's just plain stupid. They can make this, but still no Squirrel Girl solo comic? Not even a 1-shot Squirrel Girl? T

This is why I'm starting to switch to D.C. ...

New Year

I just wanted to tell everyone happy late new year. I've been extremely busy with my new project/job. I'm working on the ultimate action figure collector database archive. (Whew) Its just about consumed all of my free time. (If I ain't working, I ain't makin' no money!) So, just to drop a few plans and Ideas I would like to achieve in the sometime near future.

1) I've GOT to finish the Squirrel Girl V.S. White Rabbit fight. (People's got money ridin' on it.)
2) I'd like to work on updating my Deviantart page.
3) I'd like to work on casting plastics. (I got a mold making and resin set for Christmas/birthday)
4) I'd like to try my hand at Poppets.
5) Always drawing, never let that talent die.

Sorry, I got carried away. Just not enough light in the day I suppose.

I just heard the news, Disney Studios has just bough Marvel Comics for a whoping $4 Bill!, What does this mean? I don't know yet but as a marvel fan i'm freakin' out. I've got millions of things running through my head, Will the tone down the comics? What will become of our favorite heroes? Will Disney completely ruin Marvel? I hope not.
I've read alot of things so far, like disney might cut out the comics, that there will be floods of merchandise coming out. Heck it might even be good for marvel, like having outlets for the marvel line-up. (A Squirrel Girl show on ABC perhaps? ) Its time for a change I quess, but here's hoping for the best! I'll keep you posted as thing go on.

I bought a Spider Woman action figure, and I'm hoping to modify it to a Squirrel Girl. She has a smooth figure so I don't have to sand or do any heavy modding. All I really have to do it repaint and add some fur clothing. She'll have long hair, but i think it will be alright. Here's the original figure.

New comic i'm reading

I'm reading this comic that's pretty cool, its called "Powerless" by Marvel Comics. It starts off with this guy who wakes up after being in a coma and the whole time he was in this coma he was in a world filled with superheroes, but as it turns out he is just a ordinary psychiatrist. In the normal world there are people who he seems to know from somewhere but he just can't grasp where, people like Peter Parker a normal teenager dealing with everyday issues and working through his life. He is approached by a lawyer named Matt Murdock who needs his help in a case where Frank Castle is being accused of killing a man. These everyday people are just like you and me, but they have the same names as the famous superheroes.
I'm really excited about this story. I'll post more later. But for now here's the front cover to the first issue.

For any Squirrel Girl fan out there, consider this. I was surfing and I found a picture of who would be a good canidate for playing the furry heroine in a movie. Tell me what you think.

Annis Faris, she was the actress in the Scary Movie comedies as the lead role of the ditzy Cindy Campbell. I haven't seen her in a serious role but with the right attitude I think that she's be a pretty good canidate.

New Ebay Stuff

I've recently been getting into ebay pretty heavy, Thats where I find great deals on Hero-Cliks, and comic books. Just today though I got my Maris Brood Star Wars figure still in package and my 1st issue of Power Pack. Usually when I tell people I read Power Pack there like~ whats the deal with that? I think that there pretty cool a group of kids (2 brothers and 2 sisters) who have super powers and have to hide them from there parents who already have a hard time with problems of raising a family and the cool thing is since there kids they need help from time to time. They've teamed up with Iron man, Spiderman, Wolverine, The Fantstic Four, the X-men, and even the avengers.

I was surfing yesterday and I found out that Scarlett Johansen is playing The Black Widow in the new Iron Man movie, and I started thinking "Couldn't they find someone else with more defience to play the russian hottie" but then I remembered her in The Spirit and she was pretty good. So I started looking up pictures of her, and man is she hot!
But I also don't want to rule out another hollywood hottie, Christina Ricci. She's been in a few weird movies I know, but when I saw her in Adams Family when it first came out in theaters. I feel in love. She's a great artist and she's just good at playing strange roles.

I've started getting into Hero-Clix miniatures, if you don't know what they are. Check it out.
There pretty cool, because you can mix and match any heroes or villains to make an army, there thousands of different characters available, from Marvel to Dc to Indy Comics, there's even horror characters, that are called Horror-Clix. The only character that they didn't make that I think they should have made is
Squirrel Girl.
